Rod Links Clutch Linkage 1973-1987 C10 Chevy Truck 2WD
For 2WD Only, does not fit 4WD.
Need a replacement for your classic truck? Rod Links™ can replace that sloppy, worn clutch linkage with a new style, zero free play, rod end bearing linkage designed specifically for 63-87 GMC Trucks. Even replacement original linkage is sloppy and still wears out quickly which causes more problems. Designed as a direct replacement for factory linkage, the bearing ends provide a more durable component and very smooth operation. Annoying squeaks and rattles are also eliminated. The PTFE lined bearings requiring no lubrication and are self-cleaning. Rod Links™ are a great way to improve your vehicle whether you are on the street or on the trail.
For off road applications, the rod ends allow up to 15 degrees of pivot to accommodate for frame flex while off-roading! Reduce the risk of your linkage falling out with the additional adjustment available with Rod Links™. Kits are also available for vehicles with up to 3” body lifts – where a stock linkage may not fit. Pushrods are upgraded to a stout 9/16” OD with 3/8” mounting hardware. Better Than New!
Rod Links™ are engineered as simple BOLT-ON kits. All the needed hardware is supplied with exception of the clutch fork "Pivot" on the 63-72 kits. This includes the upper and lower push rods, fasteners, spacers and washers. Spherical rod end linkages are an excellent way to update a truck with better technology and provide a very clean look! Kits were designed for 2WD straight rod applications (there are a lot of different rod variations during these years depending on 2wd, 4x4, 1/2 ton, 1 ton, etc.), but our kits will often work on other applications.
